Henderson AC Repair in Corpus Christi, Texas
“If something can wrong, it will.”
The very end of that quote should also include, “on the hottest day ever on the face of the Earth!” We all know how those South Texas summer days are, one word… Brutal!
Let’s take a look at a few things that would tend to require an AC repair.
Your AC is Leaking Water
Your HVAC and your mini-split ductless AC both require a proper drain line installed to allow the condensation from the evaporator coil to drain away from the unit to a spot usually somewhere outside of the home or business where it is installed.
These drain lines can become clogged with dirt and debris that can cause the water to back-up into the unit instead of draining it away from the unit.
Your AC is Still Leaking Water
A couple of days after you had the drain line clogged, you notice the unit is still leaking water, but at a faster rate. This is probably due to the indoor evaporator coil becoming ‘iced-up.’
This would require the help of a professional as well. This usually indicates that there is something wrong with the level of refrigerant inside your system.
